Is there a camping for the riders near the track? Can you
order a place for this camping?
Hi Erik,
At this point I will advice you to book a place for your camper at one of the camping grounds in Copenhagen as listed above: Ishøj Camping, Copenhagen Camping or Bellahøj Camping.
These camping grounds are close to the track. The nearest Metro stop is about 800 meters from the track.
However we’re trying our best to get permission to have a temporary camping facility closer to the track, but at this point it’s NOT confirmed. If we succeed with that it will be announced at our website and mailing list first thing and you can then re-book to that site.
We look forward to seeing you in Copenhagen.
Best regards,
Martin Vestergaard
Can we have an idea of the price of the tickets?

Hello Martin, nice to meet you !!!. Please, could you inform to me, where will sell the tickets ?. Can I buy it the same day of bmx racing or, I must to buy the tickets before bmx event?. Best Regards. Ernesto. twitter: @eziopastore
Hi Ernesto,
Thank you for your post. Shortly we’ll start selling online tickets. So my advice would be to buy your tickets before the event. We will also sell tickets at the event – unless the tickets are sold out
All the best,
Martin
I think that camping ” citycamping” is also good to be for the worlds. Only 3km with the bike to the track looks to me ok. what do you think about it before i book
thanks
We collaborate with City Camping and we’ve only heard positive reviews from people staying there.
It’s a good choice for people who’re looking for a down town camping opportunity and still located close to the BMX venue .
We’re looking forward to seeing you in Copenhagen.
Best,
Martin
Hi,
What are the parking facilities like near the venue for a motorhome? We are looking at staying at Dragor and driving to the venue on the days my son and partner are racing.
Many thanks
Hi Sue,
Thank you for your question.
There will be parking facilities in the BMX venue area – about 500 meter from the venue.
We’re looking forward to seeing you in Copenhagen. Soon…

Has there been any news on the temporary campsite you were hoping to get permission for?
Struggling to find an space at a suitable campsite for motorhome.
Thanks
Hi Pete,
We suggest that you try City Camp:

It’s suitable for motorhomes and close to the BMX venue. You can also check out the three campsite as mentioned in the post above.
See you in Copenhagen. Soon!

Hi,
I plan to find a camping place and to come every day by motorhome to the track. Do the parking facilities also concern the motorhomes (during day) ?
Best regards
Hi Karine,
Yes they do. During day you’re more than welcome to park at the surrounding parking facilities.
See you in Copenhagen,
Martin

Hejsa,
Mvh

Hi,
i am trying to find a room in a hotel from the 24th till the 31 of july. I am a Junior rider from Ecuador and i am looking for a good price for the seven nights! Please help me with some hotel kind of near to the track since from here on internet everything is booked! Thanks and regards!
Nicolas.
Dear Nicolas,
Grand Hotel on Vesterbro is only 15 minutes away on bike from the track. Otherwise try this website: http://hotel.visitcopenhagen.com/EN/accommodation?filter=c=5991. Maybe you’ll find something there.
Hope you’ll find something
All the best,
Helle
One extra question, is the hotel “Grand Hotel”, located in Vesterbrogade 9, DK-1620 Copenhague, near the track??
Hi. Will there be a way to leave the bicycles at the venue overnight? I will be travelling to the track every day by train and I don´t know if they allow bikes on trains in Copenhagen.
Hi Juan,
You can bring your bike for free in all trains (Metro costs about 2 €) in Copenhagen, so I would suggest that.
Have a nice stay in CPH.
Cheers,
Helle
